We traveled three hours by car from Beijing to this remote area of China. I mean remote, no towns, just a few villages along a fairly good highway. Driving was a free for all, several times we were passing slow trucks and all of a sudden there was an oncoming truck and we had to pass three accross. So then after three hours, we go down this dirt road and all of a sudden theree is this 5 star Hotel..... It is fabulous. The chef put out a dinner for the two of us, it was 10:00 PM.
Today I will take some photos and post later.... it's 7:00 AM and b'fast is at 8:30.
We are attending a conference that has to do with getting computers in the hands of remote village students.
China is on the breaking point and I'm seeing it
